Suggested Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra – Transfer to Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet your driver. Begin your journey to Phuentsholing, a drive of about 4-5 hours (165 km) through scenic landscapes. Upon reaching Phuentsholing, complete immigration formalities for Bhutan entry. Check-in at the hotel and relax. If time permits, explore the local market and Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a small temple depicting Guru Rinpoche’s paradise. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive to Thimphu (150 km, approximately 5-6 hours). The journey offers breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and small villages along the way. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check-in at the hotel. Visit Tashichho Dzong, a majestic fortress housing Bhutan’s government offices and the King’s office.
